About 10 months ago I introduced you to the defecating dog lamps by UK artist Whathisname.  Now he has created a Ferrari red version of The Good Puppy Table Lamp, a pooping Chihuahua whose turd is actually the on/off switch.

Please Kill Me. The Latest Menswear Collection From Sibling of London.

A collaboration between Joe Bates, Sid Bryan and Cozette McCreery, SIBLING is a brand based in London which launched in 2008 born out of a desire to give knitwear for men a good old fashioned shake-up with cartoon ka-pows of color and bams of very English humor. Their latest collection, PLEASE KILL ME, is nothing short of outrageous - intentionally, of course.

While one can't discount the technical skill in the oversized knits, the A/W 2013 Menswear collection is a little Dumb Donald meets Fair Isle meets Mickey Mouse. Furry long shorts, mufflers and mittens on steroids, colored leopard prints and knit hats that belong on Fat Albert's gang are paired with sockless converse shoes.





While I commend them for creating fashions inspired by art, music and culture as opposed to concentrating on commercial wear, these pieces are simply ridonk.

Rest On Breasts. The Velvet Bikini Cushion.

Every once in awhile I come across something so bizarre, I simply have to blog about it. This is one of those times.



Got a boob man (or woman) in your life? This just might be the perfect gift for them.

The Velvet Bikini Cushion by Olleh ('Hello' backwards as well as a Korean catchphrase) has three dimensional soft fluffy filled breasts clad in a blue, orange or purple leopard printed bikini top. The bikini top is actually removable and yes, the velvet breasts have 3D nipples.

Three Artists Sink Their Teeth (And Yours) Into Jewelry

PART I*: The use of real teeth or casts of real teeth in jewelry by three very different artists.

You might have seen Australian artist Polly Van der Glas' jewelry made with real human teeth on various sites and blogs that post the bizarre, creepy and unusual like Neatorama or Coolhunting.

In her first collection of wearable art, the works are handmade in Melbourne with sterling silver and human teeth (she also makes jewelry with human hair). The human teeth with which she works are locally donated and sterilized, and she says' hard to come by', so she welcomes donations.

But she's not the only one turning molars and bicuspids into wearable art. Kim Kovel of Le Knockout will cast your teeth (or your child's) in gold or sterling silver to wear as earrings or a charm, some embedded with gems or engraved with an initial. Custom designs are also available at her store called Le Knockout.
And then there's Claire Johnston, with her Tooth Fairy Series, a collection of oversized slip cast porcelain as well as sterling silver cast human teeth to create bracelets, necklaces and rings.

A trend I do not plan on personally exhibiting, but one I wanted to share.
