Famous Movie Cars Get The Minimal Poster Treatment From Designer Jesús Prudencio.

Thanks to Fubiz, I have been introduced to Jesús Prudencio, a graphic artist, web designer and illustrator from Badajoz, currently living in Seville, Spain. A fan of both films and cars, he took it upon himself to create these minimalist posters representing movies by the iconic vehicles within them.

He did leave out a few movies in which the vehicle is the star (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Herbie The Love Bug, and Christine). And I'd love to see him create posters for the following: Bullitt, Risky Business, Thelma and Louise and Driving Miss Daisy.

Perhaps he will get to those in the future.

While developing this virtual letterpress home for the 21 st century, the creators could not help but consider the physical move of Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum (woodtype.org) the landmark institution preserving the rich history and assets of letterpress dating to the birth of letterpress in the 15th century.



The Beauty of Letterpress launches with a Neenah Paper, Inc. initiative to help raise $30,000 in funds for the Museum’s move through matching donations and gifts of limited edition prints to designers, letterpress printers and admirers of this craft.



In addition to featuring the work of artists, The Beauty of Letterpress highlights CRANE Papers and Neenah Paper and offers paper samples, videos and many community resources.
