Mid-Century Modern Wall-Mounted Plant Pods For Succulents by Dominic Fiorello Studio.

After researching the care needed for succulent plants, designer Dominic Fiorello designed this pod-like planter to be created on a CNC router. They hang vertically to display all the different views that can potentially be seen in an individual pod.

These plant pods, which are constructed of White Oak and ABS Plastic, can be purchased individually or in groups.

The Terra Vase by Katja Pettersson Looks Like Dirt and Conceals Your Plant's Roots.

Want your potted plants, bushes or trees to look natural? The emerging but already award-winning designer Katja Pettersson has created a vase for Serralunga that is exceptionally unconventional. Inspired by the ‘recyclability’ of Serralunga products, the majority of which are made of polypropylene, Katja has developed a design which utilizes the recovery of rubber from inner tire-tubes which is comprised of 92% recycled materials.

The result is a cloak covering the containment tank for the ground and the roots, and the visual effect is artistic and original, and certainly natural looking.

The rubber material is used as a cover that conceals the container underneath holding the plant and soil, and creates a visual effect similar to that of piled earth or waste.

Functions: pot cover

Materials:
outer cover rubber EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) to 95% recycled and recyclable anchored hot- carboxilate latex of a nonwoven fabric, the lower support network galvanized steel inner vessel PE (polyethylene) Injection-moulded

A New Perspective on Hanging Plants. Introducing Boskke Sky Planters.

Boskke has evolved indoor gardening with the advent of their Sky Planter. Their unique upside down stoneware and plastic planters allow you to sprinkle greenery in any room without sacrificing floor or table space.

The Ceramic Stoneware Sky Planter:
The Boskke planter, initially created in ceramic stoneware and available in three sizes, was designed by Patrick Morris and received a coveted 2011 RedDot Design award.

New Recycled Sky Planter:
Now, in addition to the original ceramic designs, they have launched a line of large and small recycled planters made from 100% recycled polypropylene plastic and packaged in recycled cardboard.

A wide variety of common house plants, herbs and vegetables grow nicely in the unorthodox planters and a locking disc and mesh holds the upside down plant and soil in place. Its internal reservoir system feeds water gradually to the plant roots. This conserves water and saves time.

The Sky Planter is easy to assemble, as shown in the short video below. Ready-grown plants are simply removed from their container and inserted into your new Sky Planter. Once locked in place, turn the pot upside down and suspend from a securely fastened ceiling hook. Extension wires and wall mounts are also available for high ceilings or wall-hung planters.
